small courtyard

This garden is a cherished space where we work a few times each year, providing maintenance, pruning and planting assistance. It features two small beds that receive dappled shade from a mature viburnum and hazel tree. The undergrowth thrives with various specimens, traditional cottage-style perennials, all blooming harmoniously alongside strategically placed evergreens, bulbs and annuals in pots. The blend of colors and shapes throughout the year complements a small wildlife pond perfectly.

growing your own

Nothing beats the satisfaction of enjoying the fruits of your hard work. We have a special passion for helping you to grow your our own food. A raised bed can serve both practical and aesthetic purposes. Check out our custom-made raised vegetable beds crafted from locally sourced materials.

Each bed features a sturdy, compacted foundation for stability and drainage. All timber is treated, and the internal structure is lined to prevent rot. Understanding the effort required in gardening, each structure includes built-in kneeling and seating areas.

A beautiful garden on a single level offers numerous spots for relaxation and unwinding. It features a porcelain pathway that leads you through a garden design with a hint of Japanese inspiration. Additionally, there's a G&T deck with a raised herbal bed to enhance the ambiance. At the rear, a cat-proof fence is set up to enable access for pruning the tall conifer hedge. The patio has been transformed using old driveway blocks, introducing a unique texture to this tranquil area.

This small garden was a blank canvas at the beginning, with just a few neglected shrubs and a collapsing fence. Now, it features two separate relaxing areas for dining and entertaining, surrounded by lovely textural shrubs and perennials. There's a small lawn for the dog, a composite deck with a fire pit and comfy chairs to enjoy the evening sun. The expanded patio, laid with charcoal porcelain and a custom pergola, adds acute angles that enhance its appeal and functionality. Perfect for morning coffee in the sun, as well as for entertaining and relaxing in the evening, this garden offers low maintenance and practical use, complete with lighting and a pond.

This beautiful terraced garden was once a neglected, two-tiered square with a burnt lawn and overgrown shrubs. Now, we have created a solid foundation for the cottage-style plants to flourish and showcase the intricate details in the paving. The original retaining wall, which was dangerously close to the property and collapsing, was removed to give the patio's dining area more space. New steps were constructed to create a delightful path around the garden. I am eagerly anticipating updating these images once the plants have fully grown and displayed their beauty. I'm thrilled to share that the wildlife activity has significantly increased since the project was completed, and the client spends a lot of time joyfully observing it all come to life.
